WELCOME

Hello! 

My name is Joe Johnson, and I am a freelance Editor, Colorist, and DIT based out of St. Louis, MO. I also go by my family's historic last name, "Sjöstrand," as there are 50 other Joe Johnsons on IMDb. In the previous five years, I have created content ranging from corporate branded videos and virtual events to short films and experimental video art. Post-Production is my happy place, and I utilize my skill set to create fun, engaging, and meaningful videos that will help YOU tell your story, promote your brand, or share your message. I also love bridging the gap between on set production and post and have worked as a DIT on a feature film, 20+ short films, and corporate productions and conferences.

Since graduating from Webster University in 2021, I have created videos for the following local production houses in the St. Louis area: Vidzu Media, Storytrack Video Production, and Unbridled Media. Aside from storytelling and film-making being some of my biggest passions, I am a hobbyist stills photographer, award-winning video artist, and top meme guy. I also love exploring weird and cool new places around St. Louis and beyond.
